Editing time-lapse
Right before I put Pastel on hold a few days ago, I started with chapter 94 for a few pages and periodically made screenshots. The result was not the complete chapter 94 (lol sorry), but a small video that I want to share ^_^
I used TimeSnapper to make the screenshots. Funny tool. It made one screenshot every second. In a 24 FPS video, that means 24x time lapse. So actually it took slightly less than one hour.
For people wondering… I’m not some genius that can remember every sentence on the page, clean it and then type down the translation from my memory. I have a laptop to my right displaying the raw version :P
If you look closely, you can see a few mistakes that I made. Would have been corrected by the time I went over it after I was done with the whole chapter.

System Of A Down – Kill Rock ‘N Roll
On most mangas it’s harder than this. For example with transparent bubbles, text that are placed not in bubbles or boxes, but directly on the picture. Then you need to redraw, and that can take a while.
But Pastel is pretty editor friendly ^_^

How’d you come to learn japanese ?
I’ve been trying to attend classes on my school, but seems like they’ve shut it down, and as my town is pretty small, it looks like it’s up to myself.

Very Nice Job…, If I wasn’t afraid of the pictures ruining the experience, I’d be glad to help clean =p.
